About the Department

The Department of Multimedia comes under School of Media and Design. The department offers an undergraduate programme in BA Multimedia.
A basic programme in Multimedia is the initial step towards a formal and graded approach for a satisfying profession in various media like Photography, Cinematography, Direction, Scripting, Editing, Sound Recording Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, Journalism and ultimately in the Cinema industry.

Anyone joining this Multimedia programme should undertake a voyage of discovery at the degree level, so that he/she would be able to assess the potential for the above mentioned professions.The syllabus designed for this program makes a genuine effort to invest the students with the multifaceted aspects of multimedia.

Duration   : 3 years (6 semesters)

Eligibility  : A pass in +2/VHSE/Equivalent exam
