About the Department

The Department of Computer Applications is a vibrant wing of Yeldo Mar Baselios College, Kothamangalam in the context of the amazing achievements of the computer sector. Computer has already become an integral part of our life style with its all-pervading significant, influence and importance. BCA was introduced in 2011 and thanks to its high degree of relevant and prominent an additional batch also was sanctioned by the university. This program provides a lot of opportunities to the student community seeking ‘pastures new’ in the domain of computer technology or IT scenario. The primary concern of the program is to produce outstanding IT professionals equipped with theoretical knowledge and practical wisdom. Computer Technology can give us what nothing else can give- infinite opportunities and harmony of science and technology.
