About the Department

An undergraduate 3-year programme, initiated in the year 2014 in Yeldo Mar BaseliosCcollege Kothamangalam, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. The course aimed to create successful fashion designers to the nation and society through the innovative and technological learning process.The curriculum is designed with both theoretical and practical insights to uplift the knowledge and experience of the learners.

The department of Fashion Technology offers value-based, scientific and technical aided learning experience through the faculty nourishment of the learner, which will enhance them to vogue through the fashion enterprises as a professional human resource. Our curious quest for exploring the exceptional, undiscovered and unblemished world of fashion, encourages our learners to develop a creative flair of designing skills, strategic thinking and a strong technical and theoretical background, thereby bringing out professional fashion designers to society. We motivate our learners to collaborate with various textile industries, and such activities will train them to be aware of the ever-changing trends in fashion.
Bachelor of Fashion Technology 3-year full-time graduate program which offers a wide variety of techniques, industry knowledge, fashion theories, and design skills to provide learners with a deeper insight into the world of Fashion.
